The narrower and slightly more pointed shape of juvenile coverts may be present in all coverts shown here, but is usually more obvious in GC. The black tips usually form a rather uneven band that is much reduced in the outer part of the arm, in this case no black in GC1-4 and diffuse black in GC5-6.
