Young sp: The post-juv moult includes body, LC, MC, a varying number of GC (often 7-9 GC included, but more restricted moult with only a few inner moulted GC is commonly seen) and a few birds may also include single/some TT and RR. Note that this applies to Scandinavian birds – more southerly populations may moult much more extensively, and in some areas the moult could perhaps best be regarded as complete (Jenni and Winkler, 2020).
Adult SC: The post-br moult includes the whole plumage.
