Summer       sp               sp

Winter          WC*            WC*

Young sp: The post-juvenile moult includes most of body (but often retain a few juvenile upper tail-coverts or scapulars), LC, MC and 0-3 GC (most commonly 0-1).
Young WC: The pre-breeding moult usually includes the whole plumage. However, single or some feathers (often TT, SS or GC) are sometimes retained, and instead included in the partial post-breeding moult. Note that differentiated periods of moult during winter often cause differences in wear during spring.
Adult sp: The post-breeding moult may be rather variable. Parts of body are included, LC are often partly included (0-100% of the feathers), and MC are often not included (0-100% of the feathers). Commonly 0-2 GC and 0-3 TT are included. A few may also moult single RR or SS.
Adult WC: The pre-breeding moult usually includes the whole plumage. However, single or some feathers (often TT, SS or GC) are sometimes retained, and instead included in the partial post-breeding moult. Note that differentiated periods of moult during winter often cause differences in wear during spring.

SEX:

No plumage differences.
