Young sp: The post-juvenile moult includes head and body feathers as well as upper lesser, median and sometimes inner greater coverts and rarely TT.
Adult SC: The post-breeding moult includes the whole plumage.
Adult and young wp: According to Svensson (1992) the pre-breeding moult should be limited to head feathers if any, but this claim remains doubtful and is yet to be verified.
Number of GC included in the post-juvenile moult shown as percentage of 1cy birds at Ottenby 2010-2013 (n=81).
