Young sp: The post-juvenile moult includes the body, LC and MC (but a few birds retain single juvenile MC). Some birds, c. 40% according to Jenni & Winkler (1994), include a few inner GC (rarely, all GC may be included). Single TT or RR are only rarely included.
Adult SC: The post-breeding moult includes the whole plumage.

Average differences do exist, but since the variation is less than well understood we prefer not to sex this species.
